Pure Health Solutions, Inc. Re: Evaluation of effectiveness of chemical reduction on your Pure Water Unit Dear Craig Story: Accurate Testing Labs, LLC, performed a series of test on your Pure Water Unit to determine the efficiency of removal of inorganic contaminants. For all the tests conducted, the laboratory tap was the source of the influent water (natural, un-chlorinated groundwater). Following tests were performed with no modification or mixing (naturaly occurring in the groundwater): Calcium, Color, Conductance, Hardness, Magnesium, Sodium, Total Dissolved Solids and Turbidity. All other analytes needed to be added to the tap water, since they are not present or not present at the intended contamination levels. The chemicals used for creating contaminated water are ACS grade and are also NIST traceable. Materials used for this experiment, other than your Pure Health Unit, are all non-metal, made of polypropylene and of food grade quality. Each of the tests was conducted using the appropriate EPA approved method. As you could see we not only have a modern and clean working environment we also use the most up to date equipment to produce reliable testing results. Accurate Testing Labs currently holds various Certifications and Accreditations: State of Washington Department of Health - Certified for all Inorganics and Microbiology in Drinking Water State of Washington Department of Ecology - Accreditation for Water andWastewater State of Idaho Department of Health - Certified for all Inorganics andMicrobiology in Drinking Water. Five individual test runs on your Unit were conducted: 1. 25 gallons of natural groundwater, Evian bottled water (from Cachat Springs, France) was tested for the same analytes. In summary, the concentration of analytes in the mixed influent water are near or at the maximum allowed EPA levels, the expected challenge levels met the introduced concentration within ±10%. The Pure Water Unit removed in excess of 99% or better following contaminants: Antimony, Arsenic, Beryllium, Cadmium, Calcium, Chloride, Chromium, Color, Cyanide, Fluoride, Hardness, Lead, Magnesium, Mercury, Nickel, Nitrate, Nitrite, Residual Free Chlorine, Selenium, Sodium, Sulfate and Thallium. If you have questions or concerns regarding the test results or you need more information regarding the test procedure, analytical data etc., please do not hesitate to contact Jim or me. Sincerely, Walter Mueller, Laboratory Director Enclosures: Certificate of analysis for influent water, water after pure water unit, Evian bottled water, list of analytes concentration and % removal. |
