Procedure:
Pure Water 1: Flushed three times and let the full tanks sit 48 Hrs. before taking the water samples. Each day for the sampling period a total of 2 gallons were drained (one in the morning after sampling and one in the late afternoon). 100 ml of water taken for testing each day.
5 Gallon Bottled Water Cooler: Obtained a 5 gal. sealed drinking water bottle and a sanitized bottled water cooler. The bottled water and cooler were provided by a major bottled water brand. Dispensed 2 gal. and let the unit sit 48 Hrs. before taking water samples. 100 ml of water was taken for testing each day.
